LASKOS is a competition proposal for the new science centre and museum extension in Oulu. Designed as a impressive, mysterious wall that hides all the thrilling experience of visiting the museum behind the brick pleat. Behind each opening and each door a new surprising world reveals itself to the visitor. The entrance gates leads you into intimate open courtyard where the first senses already start to tingle and prepare visitors for the experiences to come.

Functionally new museum is arranged as a string of four volumes, that are well connected through central staircase. The roof surface is also used as the outdoor exhibition and roof garden.
