TIENO Architects, together with Arkkitehtipalvelu and Pohjola Rakennus Oy have designed a playful composition of three new 3-story residential buildings in the beautiful shore landscape of Äijälänsalmi. Rather simple volumes with more sculptural roofs are positioned in site in a manner to optimise the amount of splendid lake views and insolation for all residents. At the same time the layout forms appealing composition of strong architectural identity. Space between building allows the nature to flow between volumes uninterrupted.

Buildings are designed with ecology in mind. Load bearing structure is from massive wood and wood is used also in facade cladding. South and West facing facades have deeper balconies to provide cooling shade during summer time.
