Kindergarten in Taka-Töölöö is formed from three “DOMINO” pieces that are placed next to each other with a half shift like in the Domino game. All three pieces are covered with united pitched roof in the same orientation as Villa Bråvalla, creating a unique sculptural volume. Solid and calm, yet architecturally rich building is in perfect balance with its surrounding and form a neutral background to the “crown jewell” of the site - the Villa Bråvalla.

Functionally kindergarten forms a unite ensemble under one roof where the operations are divided into two functional groups placed on each end of the building. Double-hight multifunctional aula and dining room is located in the middle to provide an easy access to all groups.

DOMINO is designed as carbon-neutral building with CLT structure and charred wood panel cladding.
